PLEASE SEE Scholarship Classroom or guidance for further information (NAIA) has launched its 13th Annual Scholarship for students graduating from high schools in Newfoundland and Labrador. A scholarship, valued at $1000, will be awarded to a student pursuing a post-secondary education in marine or aquatic related studies. (Sustainable aquaculture, marine biology, marine environment technology, ecology, nautical science, engineering, etc.). Please see attached for more information. Deadline for submissions is July 1, 2025 High School Graduating Students 13th Annual Scholarship The Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association (NAIA) is pleased to announce its 13 th Annual Scholarship for students graduating from high schools in Newfoundland and Labrador. Evaluation Criteria: Based on academic achievement, references, level of community involvement and volunteerism. To Apply, Please Submit the Following: 1. Completed Application (Pg 2) 2. Resume and Cover Letter outlining the rationale why you should be the successful recipient. 3. Two Reference Letters: Academic (1), and Personal (1) 4. Recent Transcript Review Process: Applications will be reviewed by the NAIA scholarship committee. Deadline for submissions: July 1, 2025. Only those applicants who are successful in their application will be notified. Safe, Caring and Inclusive Schools Graduating Student Leadership Bursary
The will be offered again this year. The website has been updated for 2024-25, and the application deadline is May 10th, 2025. The goal of the bursary is to: Recognize the leadership of youth across the province engaging in initiatives aimed at building and nurturing safe, caring and inclusive school communities. Help students recognize that they can make a difference in the lives of others. Encourage and mobilize students to become involved in future initiatives related to safe, caring and inclusive school communities. Recipients will receive a $750 tuition voucher for post-secondary education. Graduating students from public schools (NLSchools and CSFP) may apply.
